This Plaque is individually made by Crafts men for the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Champions of 1972 – Kilkenny, with a Hand Painted crest in cold cast Bronze and a Painting of the Team by Brian O’Flaherty.

Kilkenny hurlers defeated Cork in a classic All-Ireland final. In the remaining twenty two minutes of the game the black and amber men pulled down an eight point lead, while holding Cork scoreless, and chalked up a seven point victory. This was Kilkenny Hurling tradition at its best.
