On the 14th of September 1994, Offaly Hurlers won their third All-Ireland Senior title by defeating Limerick. The last six minutes of this game will probably go down in Gaelic Games history as the most exciting final ever seen. In that amazing spell Offaly turned a five point deficit into a six point victory. Thousand of jubilant fans watched and cheered as Captain Martin Hanamy lifted the Liam McCarthy Cup.
