This Plaque is individually made by Crafts men for the All-Ireland Senior Football Champions of 1988 – Meath, with a Hand Painted crest in cold cast Bronze and a Painting of the Team by Brian O’Flaherty.
On Sunday the 9th of October 1988 Meath defeated Cork by 13 points to 12 in a replay of the All-Ireland Senior Football final, when a magnificent display in the face of adversity will ensure that this Royal County side will enter GAA folklore and go down as one of the great teams of all time.
