Laois All-Ireland Minor Football Champions 1997


This Plaque is individually made by Crafts men for the All-Ireland Minor Football Champions of 1997 – Laois, with a Hand Painted crest in cold cast Bronze.

The magic minors of Laois achieved a rare Two in a row, when defeating Tyrone in the All-Ireland Final of 1997. The game itself was fast and exciting as two great teams fought out a titanic battle, and finally Laois overcame their brave opponents. “An Captain” Kieran Kelly proudly held the Tom Markham Cup as jubilant Laois Supporters cheered on their heroes.
