Manchester United – European Champions 2008

Manchester United won their third European Champion Clubs’ Cup, and the second of Sir Alex Ferguson’s tenure. The final was contested with Chelsea, making it an all-English club final for the first time in the history of the competition. This was only the third time that two clubs from the same country had contested the final. The final was the ninth to be settled by penalties.
