This Plaque is individually made by Crafts men for the All-Ireland Senior Football Champions of 1962 – Kerry with a Hand Painted crest in cold cast Bronze and a Painting of the Team by Brian O’Flaherty.

When Kerry defeated Roscommon in the 1962 final they became the first County to win 20 titles in Football or Hurling. 75’771 spectators attended the game, coincidently on the 6th of October 1946 drawn final also between Kerry and Roscommon the attendance was exactly the same. Kerry’s Captain Sean Óg Sheehy was the first son of a previous winning Captain to lift the Sam Maguire Cup. John Joe Sheehy Captained Kerry in the 1930 final.
