THE Dublin football team have made GAA history with a win over Kerry – the fifth victory for the county in a row.

Conor Lane blew the full-time whistle with a final score of Dublin 1-18 Kerry 0-15. The Boys in Blue were ahead for almost the entirety of the game – apart from Kerry’s goal with seconds of the second half from Eoin Muchan.
While Kerry rallied for victory, Dublin ruled the final quarter with a six-point victory.

GAA President John Horan presented the Sam Maguire Cup to Dublin captain Stephen Cluxton and said: “Today a new chapter in the history of our wonderful organisation has been written.”
