This classic aerial Photograph of Croke Park was taken in June 1938. The Cusack Stand was near completion and was opened for the Semi-Final on August 5th., which was contested by Kerry and Laois. A drill display was taking place during the annual sports day held by the Famous O’Connells school which is situated behind the Canal end of Croke Park. While observing this Photograph you will notice the architectural changes that have taken place through the course of time. (Print is sent with text and not with the burgundy mount as in the image)
