This Plaque is individually made by Crafts men for the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Champions of 1990 – Cork, with a Hand Painted crest in cold cast Bronze.

September the 16th. 1990 will go down in history as a great day for County Cork, By defeating Meath in the All-Ireland Football final, they completed a historic double. Breaking the Meath “Hoodoo” made the achievement ever sweeter. Amazingly Cork also won the double back in 1890. Teddy McCarthy became the first player to win Hurling and Football medals in the same year. The red sea was at high tide around Croke Park as Larry Tompkins raised the Sam Maguire cup.
