Michael Collins was born at Woodfield near Clonakilty in West Cork on the 16th. Of October 1890. Since the era of Brian Boru to Modern Times, many view Michael Collins as the most colourful and ingenious figure in Irish History. From the Easter Rising to the formation of the Free State, Collins proved himself to be the thorn in the side of British Intelligence. Whilst his name was well known, he travelled throughout Dublin remaining virtully unrecognised.
