2008 All-Ireland Football Final: Tyrone v Kerry
£12.95
The two best teams in the country this decade – Kerry and Tyrone – have both come through the back door to reach this year’s final.
Kerry lost their Munster title to Cork and survived a few scares from Galway and Cork (again) in the qualifiers and as a side show there has been the ‘Galvin’ controversy to deal with.
Tyrone’s campaign started unimpressively, losing to Down in Ulster, followed by some unconvincing qualifiers against Westmeath and Mayo but against Dublin and Wexford they raised the bar and expectations.
Kerry are favourites but Tyrone have had the upper hand in big championship clashes with Kerry, in recent years, so it promises to be a cracking final.
Will ‘The Kingdom’ prevail in their quest for 3-in-a-row or will it be ‘The Red Hand’ adding to their wins of 2003 and 2005? Tyrone 1-15 Kerry 0-14
