1999 All-Ireland Football Final: Meath v Cork

An old rivalry is revived with no survivors of the county’s previous final in 1990. Meath have been champions just three years previously and have greater experience at this level and legendary manager Seán Boylan is chasing a fourth All-Ireland. Under the guidance of former star Larry Tompkins, Cork have put together a serious challenge with a new-look team that has already won the National League. Kerry and Mayo have been unable to stop them in the championship. Now there’s just one hurdle left. Meath 1-11 : Cork 1-08
