In a classic encounter, where temperatures hit ‘fever pitch’ Tipperary held their nerve to over power the tribesmen. This game had it all – passion, power, skill and tension. The Blue and Gold anthem ‘Slievenamon’ echoed loudly throughout Croke Park when An captain Tommy Dunne lifted the Liam McCarthy Cup.
