£120.00
This Plaque is individually made by Crafts men for the All-Ireland Senior Football Champions of 1971 – Offaly, with a Hand Painted crest in cold cast Bronze and a Painting of the Team by Brian O’Flaherty.
In September 1971, Offaly became All-Ireland Senior Football Champions for the first time. This was a close encounter which Galway led by five points at the interval. However Offaly overcame the Galway challenge and a down pour of rain to clinch victory. Captain Willie Bryan became the first Offaly man to lift the Sam Maguire Cup.
