This Plaque is individually made by Crafts men for the All-Ireland Minor Football Champions of 1996 – Laois, with a Hand Painted crest in cold cast Bronze.

On Sunday the 15th of September 1996 Midland mania swept Croke Park as Laois were crowned All-Ireland Minor Football Champions. This was seen by many as a just reward for a gruelling two year campaign. Portlaoise was a sea of blue and white flags as thousands came out to welcome their heroes home.
