These matches were filmed by the National Film Institute (now the IFI) and are preserved by the IFI Irish Film Archive. This compilation is the first time they have been made available to the public. This edition includes a 20 page booklet containing images, extensive match notes and background information.

1948 highlights of the All-Ireland Hurling Championship Final played between Dublin and Waterford at Croke Park, Dublin, on Sunday, 5th September, 1948.
1949 highlights of the 1949 All Ireland Senior Hurling Final. The game is between Counties Laois and Tipperary the Leinster and Munster champions respectively.
1950 highlights from the All Ireland Hurling Championship finals of 1950. The senior match was between counties Tipperary and Kilkenny. Tipperary were the 1949 Champions and therefore looking to retain the title. The minor championship final, the traditional curtain raiser, was between the same two counties, again Tipperary being the incumbents.
1951 highlights from the All Ireland hurling finals of 1951. The minor match was between Counties Cork and Galway. The senior match was between Tipperary and Wexford.
1952 highlights from the 1952 All Ireland hurling finals. The minor final was between Dublin and Tipperary. The senior match was played between Cork and Dublin.

1956 the All Ireland finals of 1956. The finals of 1956 were delayed by a polio scare in Cork. In the minor match Tipperary played Kilkenny. The senior final was between the Munster and Leinster champions, Cork and Wexford.
1957 highlights of the 1957 All Ireland hurling finals. The minor finalists were counties Tipperary and Kilkenny. The senior match was between counties Kilkenny and Waterford, the Leinster and Munster provincial champions respectively.
1958 highlights from the finals of the 1958 All Ireland hurling championship. The minor final was between Limerick and Galway (Munster and Connaught champions respectively). In the senior match Connaught’s Galway played Munster’s Tipperary.
