2007 All-Ireland Football Final: Kerry v Cork

Croke Park – 16 September 2007

An historic all Munster final as Kerry, the reigning champions, meet Cork, their main rivals and one of the few teams to have defeated them in the championship in recent years. Kerry survived stern challenges from Monaghan and Dublin and their experienced team are favourites to win back-to-back titles with new manager Pat O’Shea and the three O’Se brothers Darragh, Tomas and Marc. Cork have reached their first final since 1999 with lower key but impressive wins against Sligo and Meath. They have Billy Morgan, one of the most experienced and passionate managers in the game and they have the motivation to put one over against their arch rivals. Can Cork cause an upset with the first title win since 1990 or will Kerry get title 35?
