1974 All-Ireland Football Final: Dublin v Galway (highlights only)


The final that launched the modern era. Having hit rock bottom since winning the 1963 All-Ireland Dublin have been miraculously revived by legendary former player Kevin Heffernan. The team is now at the final hurdle after beating champions Cork. It’s caught the imagination of the city but opponents Galway are one the game’s most consistent teams, lining up in a third final in four years. The Hill is full and the Jacks are back for one of the game’s landmark finals.
