1972 All-Ireland Hurling Final: Kilkenny v Cork (highlights only)
One of the great finals: an absorbing first half that explodes into pyrotechnics. Kilkenny are bouncing back from disappointment a year ago and Cork, their forwards in the hottest of scoring form, come together for the 12th time in a final. In a thrilling championship both have produced memorable comebacks, against Tipperary and Wexford respectively. Kilkenny persuaded Pa Dillon out of retirement during the summer and his clash with Cork full forward Ray Cummins is eagerly anticipated.
Note – this DVD only has about 50 minutes of highlights of this match as that is all the film footage that exists. The DVD also includes highlights of the 1969 Oireachtas Final (17 Mins. also Kilkenny v Cork). 1972 Kilkenny (3-24) Cork (5-11)
